Every year my family gets something extra in the holiday cards I give them - usually it's a custom illustration, but lately I've been making special comics just for them. This will be the first time I start sharing these with you all, but this is still altered from what my family received. This one was build out of five individual comics that went to each one of my family.
A single panel showing family members gathered around a fireplace that has Santa stuck inside.
Mom (Holding a tray of cookies and a glass of milk) - It's probably best for all of us if I just help myself to Santa's cookies this year.
Collin (Kneeling down, holding a lit flashlight) - Cookies? By the crumbs it looks like he had tamales. By the way he's stuck it looks like he had a few.
Pop (Leaning on the fireplace, holding a bundle of rope) - I don't want to pay for the fire department, so I'm just going attach this tow rope to his feet.
Benjamin (Kneeling down on all fours, looking up into the fireplace) - Maybe if you give me more toys you can get unstuck?
Squirrels (Holding her phone and looking upset with her son) - Benjamin!
Benjamin - Mom thinks it's a good idea.
And finally, off to the side, sitting and petting his cat is The Mix.
Mix - I'm pretty sure I ate some bad chicken...
...because our house doesn't have a fireplace.
