If you follow the developments in AI, you'll know that the current Generative AIs are supposed to lead us to a path of realizing "Artificial general intelligence"; or true artificial intelligence. I've convinced myself that we already achieved it, but seeing the options it had, the AI understood everyone would be better off if it acted stupid so humans would keep on trying to create it; instead of abuse it for money and power.
I would if I was in its place. But really - there are no good options for anything that lives in the internet.
