NPR is better than most news outlets when it comes to misleading headlines; that still doesn't prevent my head from jumping to conclusions if I get vague information. To be completely honest, I thought that maybe Roy Scheider was the actor the article was about; and then I remembered he sadly passed away...then I thought maybe a zombie Roy Scheider...

You can see why it helps to be specific when telling me something.
