I think this is pretty ubiquitous across families - blood relation is a strong indication that they'll somehow find a way to do the complete opposite of what you want. For the record, I really did want to sell the Jeep - but thankfully my family refused to believe it was worth anything and it became mine after my last car went kaput. So - I'm not actively trying to employ reverse psychology against family... ...OR AM I?
